Every Atlas Motorhomes booking comes with one of four hire packages, starting with the Essential package free of charge: the fundamentals you need to drive away from the Glasgow depot. From there, you decide how to handle extras. You can pick individual items à la carte, or choose one of three bundles that group the most-requested combinations at a discount. Both routes are equal footing.

How our hire packages work

At booking, after you’ve picked your dates and vehicle, you choose your package. Essential is automatic and free. The other three are discount bundles, each one a curated set of the extras Atlas customers most often add together:

• Comfort. Around 10% off the bundled items vs adding them individually.
• Protection Plus. Around 20% off, with reduced damage excess and a second driver included.
• Premium Protection. Around 25% off, the lowest excess we offer.

Or stay on Essential and pick individual extras at booking: pay only for what you want, no bundle maths. The choice is yours, and either route gets you the same hire.

Essential package

The fundamentals. Included with every hire, free.

• Basic insurance. Standard cover with a £2,000 damage excess.
• Campsite Discount Scheme. Membership of the campsite discount network. Pays for itself over a long-weekend trip.
• Toilet chemical. One bottle for the cassette toilet. A small detail that’s easy to forget on a Friday morning.
• One included driver. Add additional drivers individually at booking.

Comfort bundle

The first-night kit, around 10% off vs buying separately. A practical choice if you’d rather not source bedding and chairs the day before you set off.

• Everything in Essential, free as standard.
• Bedding pack. Sized to the bed layout in your vehicle. Sheets, pillows, duvets, ready to use.
• Hand and bath towels.
• Camping chairs.

Protection Plus bundle

Comfort kit plus reduced excess and a second driver, around 20% off. A common pick for couples sharing the wheel who want to keep the bill small if something goes wrong.

• Everything in Comfort.
• CDW reducing excess to £750. Down from the standard £2,000.
• Windscreen & window cover. Zero excess on chips & cracks.  Common stuff on Highland single-tracks.
• One included driver.

Premium Protection bundle

The lowest excess we offer, three included drivers, around 25% off the bundled items. A good fit for anyone who wants the smallest possible bill if something does go wrong.

• Everything in Comfort.
• CDW reducing excess to £250. The lowest available.
• Windscreen, tyre and mirror cover.  Zero excess on chips, cracks, blowouts and clipped wing mirrors.
• One included driver.

Build your own

If your trip is its own shape, stay on Essential and pick individual extras on the next step of the booking. You pay only for what you want and skip what you don’t. Bringing your own bedding? Don’t pay for ours. Hiring solo and confident behind the wheel? Skip paying for a second-driver. Common picks include any single item from the bundles above (including the £750 or £250 Collision Damage Waiver on its own), or a combination only you would think of.

The small print

Each insurance product in the bundles has its own terms and conditions. CDW exclusions cover overhead damage, off-road driving and unauthorised drivers. Bundle discounts apply automatically when you select a bundle at booking and are reflected in the package price shown on the quote. Your chosen package excess sits alongside the security deposit taken at collection, and bundle costs are payable using any of our accepted payment methods.
