No surcharges, booking fees or credit card fees
The price you see is the price you pay. We will not charge anything additional or hide any extras. In most cases if you opt to pay at time of booking you will save on the initial price quoted; 5% discount.
Pricing is based on full 24 hour periods
We do not charge for a whole day, on either your collection or return day. We literally only start charging from the time you collect the vehicle. This can sometimes make a huge difference to the overall hire price. If comparing pricing, it is always worth checking the total price quoted, not just the daily rate.
Example: You wish a hire to commence at 2pm on a Friday, returning 2pm on a Monday. We will charge you 3 Days. Most other companies will charge for the Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. This is 4 days. This makes us 25% cheaper, even if the daily rate were the same. If you are comparing our prices please ensure you are comparing like for like.
We offer flexible collection and return times
There are no premiums for collecting or returning on Sundays or public holidays. Use our enquiry system, enter your preferred dates and time, and you will see the total price for the vehicles available.
Monday to Friday and off peak weekends we do not restrict your pick up and return times. Please note that weekends in peak times we request you collect your vehicle in the afternoon and return in the morning. This is only for weekend pick ups and returns.
Modern Vehicles, latest 2018/19 models
Our motorhome and campervan fleet are brand new models. Most vehicles are upgraded to include automatic transmissions and engine horsepower upgrades. We refresh our motorhome fleet every year ensuring our customers experience a vehicle that feels like new. After every hire we conduct an intensive turnaround programme. This ensures the vehicle is returned to as near new condition each time. We want our customers feeling like they are the first to use the vehicle.
Each motorhome is well equipped as standard meaning there are no hidden or last minute charges. TV/DVD’s, powerful heaters are all standard and not options.
Atlas only use their own vehicles
At Atlas, we only rent our own vehicles. Our customers recognise the benefits of this.
Many rental companies on the internet are not actual vehicle rental firms. They are a booking system for vehicles owned by members of the public who wish to make some extra money from hiring their vehicle. This can lead to lower prices, as there is no fleet to purchase or maintain, however it also means there is no control of the vehicle quality and maintenance procedures. Many agents have nothing vested in the business and can easily disappear overnight. High profile agents went out of business this year with customers losing their money and having their holiday ruined at the last minute.
If you were renting a car, you wouldn’t expect Avis or Hertz to provide you with someone elses vehicle. It is worth checking this if the price looks too good to be true.

No branded signage or logos on our vehicles. Our customers do not want to drive a mobile billboard advert around. We believe this can make you stand out as a tourist.
With Atlas the vehicle doesn’t look hired and you could easily pass it off as your own. You don’t see car rental firms like Hertz and Avis with big signs on them so why do so many campervan and motorhome companies plaster their logo, web address and telephone number on the front back and sides of the vehicle.

Our response times, either on phone, email, social media or otherwise will be consistent, ensuring you get the information you require timely and accurately. If for any reason we cannot answer fully any enquiry within our timeframe, we will still make contact so you know we are working on it. We all know what it feels like to be forgotten about now and again; nothing can be more frustrating or bad mannered. You will not experience that from Atlas.
