Interior Features of 4 berth Motorhome - Swift 494

The is our best layout vehicle for couples and small families.   Many like the convenience of the permanently made up fixed bed.   This vehicle has a double bed at normal bed height accessed from both sides.   No need for ladders or putting the bed away during the day.  This is also a couples vehicle that has a lot of storage space too.   If you are packing for a week or two the various storage options, including under the bed, will allow you to keep organised and tidy.

If there are 4 or you or less and you have been considering a 6 berth for the extra space, then this vehicle is a serious contender.  This vehicle has the same interior space as 6 berth motorhomes.   This is a well laid out spacious 4 berth.

As with all our premier range motorhomes it comes very well specified internally.  The front lounge is created by turning both of the front seats facing the dinette.   The other double bed is above the cab and dinette.   The dinette and lounge can still be used when the over cab bed is in use.   In total there are two double beds, sleeping 4.

The premier specification includes: A kitchen which boasts a near full size fridge with separate freezer compartment.   Perfect for long trips away and irregular visits to the grocery store.   The cooking set up includes a 3 burner gas hob and combination grill and oven.   This is also gas, allowing cooking away from campsites and hook up electrical supply.   A 240v microwave is also provided.  There is good storage in the kitchen for food.  We supply all pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses, utensils and kettle.   Beyond the kitchen the lounge area at the front is spacious and has a TV/DVD.   The front seats swivel making this an nice open space.

The separate washroom is situated in the middle opposite the kitchen area. This comprises toilet & wash hand basin and shower.  The wardrobe is situated next to the washroom.

As with all our vehicles, all systems (except microwave) will operate when you are wild camping.  This is perfect if you want a few days away from campsites and want to go touring further afield or to more remote spaces.

Exterior

As with all our vehicles you can drive this with a standard car licence.  It is 7.3 metres long, which is still well suited to the roads of Scotland and the rest of the UK.   At the rear are parking sensors aiding parking.   From the outside you can access the storage space under the bed (you can access from the inside as well).  There is a gas locker which will store 2 gas bottles.  It is always comforting to have a gas cylinder in reserve.

The vehicle has a low profile front end which helps reduce drag and provide a healthy fuel consumption (32-35 mpg).   This vehicle feels light to drive and makes for a comfortable holiday with simple driving.

As with all our vehicles, the main habitation door is on the passenger (safe) side of the vehicle, allowing for easy access from the kerbside.
