This layout offers the best of both worlds when it comes to lounging and sleeping arrangements, which is why it’s equally popular with couples, families, and small groups.

The rear lounge is always a favourite — ideal for relaxing in the evenings, reading, or socialising — while the front lounge provides a separate space for dining or unwinding. At night, the rear lounge converts into a double bed, and the front bed lowers from the ceiling or is accessed above the cab.

If you’re travelling with four people or fewer and have been considering a 5- or 6-berth motorhome purely for the extra space, this vehicle is a serious contender. Internally, it offers the same living space as many larger motorhomes, but with fewer beds and a more comfortable, uncluttered layout.

The front lounge is formed by swivelling both cab seats to join the dinette, creating a sociable and flexible dining area. A removable table can be added as required.

Kitchen & Living Comfort

The premier specification kitchen is well suited to longer trips and less frequent shopping stops:

• Large fridge with separate freezer compartment
• Three-burner gas hob
• Gas oven and grill
• Good storage for food and equipment

All pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses, utensils, and kettle are supplied as standard.

The front lounge also features a TV/DVD system, Bluetooth phone connectivity, and a comfortable seating arrangement that benefits from the swivel cab seats, creating a bright and open living space.

Washroom

The separate washroom is located mid-vehicle, opposite the kitchen, and includes:

• Toilet and wash hand basin
• Separate shower cubicle
• Wardrobe storage adjacent to the washroom

This layout offers good privacy and practicality, especially for longer stays.

Power & Off-Grid Capability

As with all Atlas vehicles, the Auto-Trail F72 / C72 is suitable for short off-grid stays, with all main onboard systems operating without electric hook-up (excluding high-draw appliances). This allows you to tour further afield and enjoy quieter locations away from campsites when desired.

Exterior features of 4 berth rear lounge - Auto Trail 72s

The Auto-Trail F72 / C72 can be driven on a standard car licence and measures approximately 7.3 metres in length, remaining well suited to touring Scotland and the rest of the UK.

Exterior features include:

• Rear parking sensors and/or reversing camera
• External access to storage beneath the rear lounge
• Gas locker capable of storing two gas bottles

Its low-profile front design helps reduce drag and contributes to comfortable, relaxed driving, with typical fuel consumption of 32–35 mpg.

As with all Atlas vehicles, the main habitation door is on the passenger (safe) side, allowing easy access from the kerbside.
