Price is a key factor in all buying decisions these days. We would like to share our policy on pricing so you can make your mind up, if we are the company for you.
We aim at all times to be competitive in the market. This doesn’t mean the cheapest, as generally you only get what you pay for these days, which can sometimes lead to a later upset. Cheap holidays have a habit of going wrong. Breakdowns, poor service, poor quality vehicles and last minute cancellations have a greater chance of occurring with low budget, cheap operators, not always focussed on the long term or on-going customer satisfaction.
At Atlas you will get a high level of service from the first moment you make contact with us. Our vehicles are in top condition and are all less than 2 years old. We pride ourselves in never having cancelled a customer due to vehicle reliability, breakdown, or double booking. This is the result of a professionally managed business.
Our pricing is dynamic. This means that it can change on a day by day basis. This is very similar to holiday packages, flights or train pricing systems. It means that you can improve your chances of getting a better price by buying at the right time. If you can book early, typically more than 5 months before your hire, then you will get an early booking discount. Likewise, last minute booking, can also favour those who make their mind up late. Naturally this is subject to availability. Pricing at other times varies based on the time of year you wish to hire and the number of days you wish to hire for.
How our quote is made up
The price shown after you have entered your dates into the enquiry generator will show 2 choices. The cheapest is paying the full amount at time of booking. If you wish to spread the payments then you can split payments 25/75%. The pricing shown will include any discounts eg. early bird, longer hire or last minute deals. Any discounts will be shown on the quotation page or on your booking page. The deposit is 25% and due at time of booking. The 75% balance is due 8 weeks prior to hire commencing. A lower price option is available to customers wishing to pay the full hire price at time of booking. This discount is 5% and is presented as an option on the booking page.
All this is designed to give you the best choice of price to suit your needs. If you request a quote to your email, we will honour that quote for 7 days, to give you time to complete your research and make a decision.
Included in the Price
We include a number of items and options that many other companies charge extra for.
- – Our insurance is fully comprehensive and included in the price (for the 1st driver)
- – There is no limit to mileage
- – We pay for your 1st gas bottle, which will be partially full. This is the LPG used for heating, cooking, hot water
- – We do not charge extra for non UK licences eg. EU/Australian/New Zealand/Canadian and USA licences
- – We do not charge extra for under 25 or over 75 year old drivers *
- – We do not charge extra for out of office hour collections or returns
* Subject to approval by our insurers. Security deposit may be higher.
There are many other options available. Most popular items include; bedding/towels, satellite navigation (some vehicles have this as standard), chemical toilet, bikes. A full selection of options is available when getting a quotation or making a booking.
There are many methods you can use to pay for your vehicle hire. Choose from all major credit & debit cards and bank transfer. You can pay on-line or over the telephone and you have the choice of paying all at time of booking or in two separate payments. For more information visit our Payment Methods page
We do not charge fees for using debit or credit cards. We also do not charge a booking fee.
