This could be the start of something amazing.   Your motorhome hire in Scotland could just be the holiday of a lifetime.   Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.  We are obviously biased, however many people have independently told us this.   Renting a motor home or camper van to explore the vastness of Scotland’s treasures will be so special, you will crave many return visits.

Your motorhome hire will take you to some of the most special locations.   Visit the multitude of castles; some ruins and some still in use.   Immerse yourself in our rich history and feel like you become an actual part of it.   Our lochs provide some of the most stunning foregrounds to scenery that will simply reach into the depths of your soul.   The hills provide access to a level of freedom and wild open spaces rarely possible in our modern world.  These hills have walks that have been worn down over the centuries offering walkers of all abilities the opportunity to fulfil many a dream.  Our coastlines provide some of the best and secluded beaches, unrivalled anywhere.   These coastlines can also be rugged and dramatic, carved from millions of years of varied and dramatic weather.  Our towns and cities are vibrant places with the friendliest people you could hope to meet.   The social events, festivals, pubs and restaurants in our major cities rival any of the worlds main capital cities.     Our islands are far enough away to feel remote and peaceful, yet easily accessed by ferry services.   Our distilleries are famous around the world and offer whiskey and gin enthusiasts an immersive experience with their favourite wee dram or tipple.  Our wilderness is everywhere.  Outside of the central Glasgow to Edinburgh belt our country opens up in the widest of open spaces.   Bird watchers and nature enthusiasts will not need to look further.

Scotland is for everyone.

Roller Team T-Line 590 for Hire

Roller Team T-Line 590 motorhome for Hire

For couples and small families looking for a luxurious specification of motorhome, our Roller Team TL-590 delivers.  We call this our 4 person luxury motorhome.  This is mid sized, is easy to drive, park and navigate the narrower wilder roads of Scotland.  Ideal for the small B roads and twisty single tracks with passing places.   This motorhome inspires confidence with all car drivers.   A clever layout makes this motorhome feel larger on the inside.  The full-size double bed that electrically disappears into the ceiling saves a massive amount of daytime usable space.  A second double bed is made up from the dinette completing the 4 sleeping berths.  A separate toilet and shower room rivals that of much larger vehicles.   For more information see our motorhome specification page, with 360 tours, video and photos.

Families and groups (and couples wishing more space) have two layout options.   The Roller Team 746 (5 person with rear lounge layout) is popular for customers wishing multiple bed layout configurations.   A king sized double over the cab and options to have single or double bed configurations by re arranging the dinette and rear lounge make this a popular choice.   External storage lockers and a number of internal cupboards help keep the holiday packing out of the way.  For more information see our motorhome specification page, with 360 tours, video and photos.

Roller Team Zefiro 696 for Hire

Our Roller Team Zefiro 696 (5 person with master bedroom) provides a level of privacy not normally present in motorhomes.  The separating door giving access to a bedroom with double bed and ensuite toilet/shower is a nice luxury.   This is particularly useful if looking for privacy from the children or another group you are travelling with.   There is another double bed up front that electrically disappears into the ceiling during the day.   A single bed can also be made up from the dinette.   External storage is vast keeping holiday packing out of the way.  For more information see our motorhome specification page, with 360 tours, video and photos.

Specification Upgrade and Enhancements

All motorhomes have been upgraded and include automatic gearboxes and engine horsepower uplifts.   This gives you less to think about on the road and allows you to focus on enjoying the scenery.   Even with a full load the upgraded horsepower will ensure you don’t feel sluggish on the hills ascents.   Sometimes it is the simple improvements that can make a lot of difference.

Where to Start your Motorhome trip? Our Glasgow Depot

Motorhome Hire Glasgow Scotland

Easy to get to

Our Glasgow Depot is literally where all roads meet, trains converge and planes land.    It is so simple to get to us by whatever mode of transport suits you.   We are not on a farm or in some out of the way place.

We are 200 yards from the M8 motorway (junction 19 Glasgow City centre), 10 minutes walk from Glasgow Central railway station, which brings all high speed trains from the south, 15 minutes from Glasgow Queen street station, with its 40 minute connection to Edinburgh and 10 minutes by cab from Glasgow airport.

If you drive to us you can leave your car parked securely at our depot.

Vehicle collected? Now where?

Now that you’ve easily got to us, you are now poised to travel off in whatever direction suits you.   Whichever way you go you will be in the countryside within 15 minutes and heading off to your wilderness, or out of the way place.

Loch Lomond is 30 minutes away, providing the gateway to the national park.    Keep following the A82 and you are now on one of the most iconic motorhome routes travelling towards the stunning west coast.   Passing the Rest and be Thankful, Inverary and beyond out to the Kintyre peninsula or choosing the route via Glencoe and Fort William you will most probably have the Isle of Skye as your destination.   Back at Glasgow another popular route north is the A9.  Stirling is 30 minutes from us, leading to Perth and Inverness.  Inverness being the unofficial starting point for the NC500.   Glasgow truly is at the hub of your travel routes providing so many exciting trip opportunities.

Edinburgh Airport and Edinburgh City arrivals

Edinburgh Motorhome Hire

Hiring your motorhome may be a part of your wider holiday plans.   Many of our customers like to start or finish their trip with a night or two in Edinburgh, our Capital City.   At certain times of year there are festivals which warrant a special visit.   Taking a motorhome into Edinburgh is not advised as road restrictions prevent private vehicles.   Parking a motorhome in the city is also impossible.   This is why separating this from the motorhome hire element of your trip is recommended.

When you are readying to continue your holiday in Scotland with your motorhome you can hop on the express train to Glasgow or the Airlink bus from the airport and be at our Glasgow depot in about an hour.   From our depot you are better positioned to make the most of our road links to where you go next.
