This is one of our best layouts for couples and small families, particularly if you don’t travel light.

The permanently made-up rear bed sits slightly raised and is accessed via a step rather than a ladder, offering convenience and comfort night after night. Beneath it, the full-height garage easily absorbs luggage and bulky equipment — a major advantage for active holidays.

If you’ve considered a 6-berth motorhome purely for the extra space, the Imala 736G is a serious alternative. It delivers a large, well-balanced interior without unnecessary sleeping capacity.

The front lounge is created by swivelling both cab seats toward the dinette, forming a bright and sociable space. The over-cab double bed allows the lounge and dinette to remain usable even when the bed is in place.

In total, the vehicle provides:

• Two double beds
• Four seatbelts
• Comfortable sleeping for up to four people

Kitchen & Living Comfort

The Imala 736G features a high-spec kitchen designed for extended touring:

• Large fridge with separate freezer compartment
• Three-burner gas hob
• Gas oven and grill
• 240v microwave
• Excellent food and utensil storage

All pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, and kettle are supplied.

The front lounge includes a TV/DVD system that folds away neatly when not in use, while Bluetooth connectivity allows easy phone and media pairing. Swivel cab seats help create a relaxed, open living space.

Opposite the kitchen is a large, separate washroom, featuring:

• Toilet and wash basin
• Dedicated shower cubicle
• Wardrobe storage adjacent to the washroom

Power & Off-Grid Capability

As with all Atlas vehicles, the Imala 736G is well suited to short off-grid stays, with onboard systems (excluding the microwave) operating without electric hook-up. This makes it ideal for exploring more remote areas or enjoying a few nights away from campsites.

Exterior

The Imala 736G can be driven on a standard car licence and measures 7.25 metres in length, remaining well suited to touring across Scotland and the wider UK.

Exterior features include:

• Rear reversing camera for easier manoeuvring

• Large external access to the rear garage

• Gas locker capable of carrying two gas bottles

Its low-profile design helps reduce drag and contributes to a comfortable, relaxed driving experience, with typical fuel consumption of 32–35 mpg.

As with all Atlas vehicles, the main habitation door is on the passenger (safe) side, allowing easy access from the kerbside.
